Write to Become Privacy Policy
Effective 13 October 2026. Travis Dillard, Design First Inc.
Write to Become is a handwriting practice for one short belief. This policy describes what the iPad app actually does with information.
What stays on your iPad
The beliefs you write, the ink, the practice dates, the theme you pick, and whether you have finished the short introduction are stored on the device. Write to Become does not create an account. It does not upload what you write. It does not use a writing service, an advertising network, or a crash reporter.
Wording help, when your iPad offers it, uses Apple Intelligence on the device. If that is not available, Write to Become uses a built-in list of lines that shipped with the app. Neither path sends your sentence to Travis or to a third-party writing API.
Purchases
Write to Become Plus is sold by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes the payment. Write to Become receives a yes-or-no entitlement for the subscription or the lifetime purchase. It does not receive your card number. Restore Purchases asks Apple, on this iPad, whether this Apple ID already owns Plus.
A copy run from Xcode sees Apple's Xcode store environment. On that install Plus is turned on so the practice can be reviewed. TestFlight is a sandbox install. Plus stays off there until you buy with a sandbox Apple ID, and Apple does not charge that purchase. Neither flag is an account, and neither is sent anywhere. There is no account to delete.
What we do not collect
- No name, email, or phone number inside the app.
- No photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No analytics identifier.
The only preference store is the iPad's own UserDefaults, used for the theme, the introduction flag, and similar on-device settings. Apple's privacy manifest for the app declares that and nothing else.
Children
Write to Become is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If the app starts sending data off the device, this page will change first, and the App Store privacy label will change with it. The date at the top is the date of the current text.
